Dr. Ramana graduated from the National University of Singapore in 2012.
 

He completed the Internal Medicine Residency training program with Singhealth in 2017. During his Residency, he trained under multiple specialists in the departments of Cardiology, Dermatology, Emergency Medicine, Endocrinology, Geriatric Medicine, Internal Medicine, Neurology, Medical Oncology, Rehabilitation Medicine and Respiratory Medicine at both Changi General Hospital and Singapore General Hospital.

He was the resident doctor at OneCare Clinic Bukit Gombak MRT from 2017 to 2023.
